Welcome, we are Canadian Macroeconomics Study Group
The Canadian Macroeconomics Study Group fosters exchange and collaboration among macroeconomic researchers, and provides a platform for scholars, especially young Canadian scholars, to present their results to other researchers in Canada and abroad.
The CMSG hosts an annual meeting in the late fall and organizes the macroeconomics sessions of the Canadian Economics Association annual conference held in the early summer.

About The Annual Meeting
The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Canadian Macro Study Group (CMSG) will be held November 13-14, 2026 at in Hamilton, Ontario. This year’s meeting (the 40th Annual Meeting) will be hosted by the Department of Economics at McMaster University.
